Yes, today we braved the big city lights of down town, and took a family outing to Riverdance. It all started with Jake's on call BOA, Jenny. She was just filling in until Jake hired his now permanent BOA, Urika. Jenny used to be a dancer in England, and absolutely adored Taylee, especially when she found out that Tay was a fellow ballerina. Jake went on to inform her that Riverdance started Taylee's love for dancing. We have the video, and Jake puts it on for the kids to watch. (He quite enjoys it also). They like to sing and dance along with the performers, and it holds their attention so we can get other things done. Anyways, when it was Jenny's time to move on, she gave our family a going away gift, which was 4 tickets to the Riverdance farewell tour. It was all well and great, until we realized we would have to take a 3 and 2 year old to a theater, at 2:oo in the afternoon. Needless to say, they relished in it until the Intermission. After that, they were toast, and we had to leave before the end, which is always the best part. It was amazing, though!! The music was beautiful, the dancing superb, and the atmosphere, fantastic. We did get our fair share of disgusted looks and comments when our kids would act up, but it was well worth it. Thanks Jenny, for a great gift. And, hey, the good part was that we were able to put the kids to bed at 7:00 tonight, because they were so tired. We had our evening together after all.
They don't let you take pictures in the theater, so this is the best we got.
It gave me an excuse to dress Tay up in her Christmas dress again. She always gets so much attention in this dress, and she just loves it.

Sounds fun! I really do wish I had bought tickets...they aren't cheap though. Sorry you had to leave early. What do expect with two toddlers though, right? I'm glad you guys were able to go. I'm sure Tay loved it!!!
That looked like a ton of fun. I'm sure that the people looking at you were just amazed at how cute you children were. They really weren't disgusted at how loud they were.
I'll bet that Taylee and Rhone's little feet will dance around the house now even more than before. What a joy!!! I miss you and your siblings dancing around the house.
Oh, but maybe you didn't get to do that because you are the middle child! Poor little thing. Your mother loves you anyway.
