Since we have moved into this house, I have had the hardest time keeping up with the laundry! Maybe it's because the washer and dryer are in the basement, and it's 15 stairs down, and scarey down there? Maybe it's because Jake refuses to use a bath towel more than once? Why does Rohne still go through at least 2 outfits a day? I thought they grew out of that! I did take a picture of my menagerie, but now I'm thinking about it, it would just be too embarassing to show. I keep wanting to go to Target and just buy another laundry basket. At least then, it won't be spread all over my floor. But, I know that is not the solution! Come on, give me some motivation!!

Sunshine, how we adore you!
I know, it's hard to believe, but we have actually had Seattle sunshine for straight days now. So, the kids and I decided to walk to the park (runny noses and all), and enjoy it. They were thrilled, and it was a great way to run off some of that pent-up energy. Then, when we got home, I raked a few leaves, and the kids were able to ride their cars around the driveway. Thank you Sunshine! We hope you bless us with your presence for many more days to come. The twisty slide was a favorite.

Noses, Knights, and Dancing!
Rohne got his first bloody nose. He loves to jump from the stairs going up to the playroom, and most of the time, lands on his feet. However, his nose hit first this time. Don't worry, I'm actually holding him, while Jake takes this picture.

What a week!. . . . . NOT!
I know, I haven't posted in awhile, but there's just not much going on lately around here. There's laundry to be folded, dishes to be washed, floors to be vacuumed, nothing fun. I am trying to get out of this slump. I haven't worked out in awhile, and I just know I'm getting chubby. I took the kids to this ward play group on Monday, and of course, they got sick, which doesn't help things. I am feeling very sorry for myself that I cannot go to Idaho to see little Cameron be blessed, and did I mention that I am chubby? Anyways, here's a few pics to document our week. Nothing great, but pictures will make this post a lot less boring! Taylee doesn't have Ballet this week, so she has faithfully been practicing to "Bella Dancerella." I'm sure Monique can attest that this silly song NEVER leaves your head! Go away Bella!

Dora & Diego
Taylee really wanted to play dress-up tonight, and Rohne kept crying for a dress for himself. (Yikes!!) However, I had forgotten that my mother-in-law had purchased him a Diego costume just for these situations. I thought they were too cute, so I just had to snap a picture. Of course, it's hard to get them to focus on taking a picture for very long. This is what we get! Apparently Diego can be quite fiesty. He was actually trying to growl like Baby Jaguar.

Sweet, little guy
We've been having a bit of a sleeping problem lately. Taylee has decided that 3 year olds don't need naps, and Rohne is trying to follow suit. (No, he still doesn't sleep through the night. Don't know what to do about that one.) Saturday I went to a baby shower, and left Jake to put the kiddos down, with a kiss for good luck. I came home to see this. Jake said he fell asleep perfectly fine on the couch. He does look pretty sweet sleeping, I'll give ya that.

Tagged Again!
I know I am going to bore you all out of your minds, but I was tagged by my beautiful friend, Aubri, and get to tell all about my husband.
What is his name: Jacob Daniel Klein
How long have you been married? It will be 8 years in July
How old is he? If you have been reading my blog, you know he just turned 31.
Who eats more? I know, you would think Jake all the way, but I grew up in a family of 6 kids, so I come pretty darn close.
Who said "I love you" first? I can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure it was Jake.
Who is taller? Jacob
Who sings better? Me, but Jake is getting better all the time. The kids, for some reason, like him to sing to them, not me. (He is a lot funnier)
Who is smarter? I am more book smart, but when it comes to sports and entertainment, no one, I mean no one knows more than Jake.
Whose temper is worse? Definitely mine. He doesn't even have a temper. But, if he does raise his voice to me, it shocks me so much that I will cry for hours.
Who does the laundry? Me. He does throw things in the dryer for "de-wrinkling" occasionally.
Who does the dishes? Me. I can probably count on my one hand the number of times Jake has done dishes since we have been married. Touching other's food grosses him out.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does. But, he's a pretty big guy, so he takes up most of the bed. I soooo want a King-sized one day.
Who pays the bills? We both do. I used to do it all, but I got so stressed out when Rohne was sick all the time, that I passed it on to Jake. He is ready to give it back to me now, so we are in the process of transitioning over.
Who mows the lawn? We have actually never had our own lawn to mow before now, and it's winter. I suspect in the summer, he will do it, but I will chip in.
Who cooks dinner? Me. Jake is really good at heating things up though. Wait. . . his sausage and eggs could beat anybody's, but that's breakfast.
Who drives when you are together? Jake all the way. Every time I drive when we are together, he makes me so nervous, I end up sobbing.
Who is more stubborn? He would say me, but it is 100% him. It is a Klein family trait.
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Me. Is Jake ever wrong?
Whose parents do you see the most? I talk to my mom more often, but we see his all the time.
Who proposed? Jacob. It's sad how it's getting harder and harder for me to picture that moment.
Who has more friends? Definitely Jake. I keep waiting for him to make me a new friend up here, but it seems to be taking him awhile. He is not afraid to talk to anyone, and he calls people all the time.
Who has more siblings? I do. I love his sister, and my wonderful sister-in-law, so they count as mine now.
Who wears the pants? I'm a blue jeans gal, but I like to wear skirts occasionally. Jake looks really good in dress pants!
I now tag Victoria, and anyone else who wants to brag about their husband, go ahead. We would love to hear it!

Here's my Tag!
My good friend Candy, tagged me. So, here it is . . .
Typical time of wake-up: The kids are up around 7:00-7:45, but I usually let Jake get the kids up, if he can, and don't get out of bed until he leaves for work, or the kids start screaming for breakfast.
On a good night when do your kids go to sleep: 8:00-8:30 p.m.
How long have you been a momma?: 3 1/2 years.
How old were you when you became a mom? 24 with Taylee, 26 with Rohne.
Favorite kids show: Super Why, Max & Ruby, and LeapFrog DVD.
Least favorite kids show: My kids aren't allowed to watch Spongebob or Teletubbies, and I can't stand Barney.
Favorite chore: Hmmmm, taking a nap after the chores are done?
Least favorite chore: Hmmmm, lets see. . . Hmmm. . . all of them!! (Have you seen my house lately?)
Meal you cook most often: Sheperds pie, Rice and chicken, and pasta
Kids favorite meal: Taylee will only eat peanut butter and jelly and pizza right now. Rohne loves hot dogs and macaroni and cheese, but likes most anything.
5 Things that make you smile about being a mom: Telling me they love me, Singing songs really loud in the car, When they play well together, Seeing them master a skill they've been working on.
Favorite thing your husband does with your kids: Never loses his patience with them, and lets them hang and climb all over him.
Last time you went out with no kids: We have a wonderful Grandma close by that loves to babysit, so we actually went out a couple weekends ago, and Jake made me watch "I am Legend." (Would not recommend it)
If you could take your kids anywhere where would it be? Right now, I would go to Idaho Falls to see my new nephew, and my family. We've always wanted to take the kids to Disneyland.
Favorite pasttime/activity with your kids: Snuggling on my bed in the mornings, going to the park, reading books together, and visiting Daddy at his office.
One thing your mom did that you do now: Let them cook with me, read lots of books, teach them how to clean.
Favorite kids book: "Jesse Bear" books, "Where's my Teddy" series, and "Where the Wild Things are".
Best advice for a new mom: The best advice I ever got was from Mary Ewer, when Taylee was like 2 days old. She said to "enjoy the moment, it gets better." I remember my mom told me that when I was losing my patience with colick and crying, to just remember how much I wanted to have kids, and what a blessing it is that I have them.
Scariest or most heartbreaking moment as a mom: Rohne's whole ordeal has been really scarey, especially when they thought he had cancer. It still breaks my heart when we get the shot stuff out, and he runs away crying, "No shot, No shot."
Most joyful moment as a mom: After giving birth to them, when they're finally asleep at night, and look so angelic in their beds.
Last time your child told you they loved you: They both said it when I put them down for their naps today.
Last time you told your children you loved them: When I put them down for their naps today.
I tag: Mom, Melissa, and April.

Happy Birthday to my wonderful Hubby!
My husband, Jake, turned 31 years young yesterday. Yep, it's hard to believe that he's actually that old!! Our good friend, Tila, explained it all when he said: "Remember, you are only as old as you feel." Jake is such a fun, happy, loving guy, and I am so thankful that we found each other, and he picked me. I couldn't ask for a better husband, or a better father for our children. Thank you for sharing your life with me, honey, and here's to another 31 years with us together!! The Birthday party consisted of Red Robin on Friday night, and then a get together on Sunday with the family. Jake, Jer, and Jessi mainly just played the Wii all evening. No, we didn't get Jake Guitar Hero, although now he thinks he wants it.
Yes, he also got GI*Joe's from his brother. He really, really, really is a kid at heart.
I forgot the candles at home, so we put little sparklers on the cake. They didn't work very well, as you can tell.

Funny Sayings
So, following in the footsteps of some of my fellow bloggers, I decided to record some of my kids silly things they say. Mainly because, if I don't record them, I will forget them. Tay is quite the character lately, and I really don't know where she gets some of these things she says.

Cabin Fever, go away, don't come back another day!
I don't why, but I am so ready for this winter to be over, and want spring to spring! The kids and I have been a little grouchy and stir crazy, so I decided that I would try to do a fun outing at least every other, if not every day. Yesterday we went to the library, the day before we went to Factoria, and today we went to the Crossroads Mall. I called up my good friend, Lori, who brought along her lively little boy, McKay. This mall is great, because it's not very busy during the day, and it's small enough that the kids can just run, and you don't have to worry too much. There are lots of different places to eat, and they have 4 or 5 kid rides that only cost a quarter. Tay and Rohne had a blast, and it was a great way to break up the cabin fever. We ate pizza, and as you can tell, the kids were quite hungry!
Rohne and McKay loved riding the car together, as long as they took turns driving.
I plan on going again next week, so just let me know if you want to tag along!!

She did it!
For the first time in, I can't even remember the last time she did this, Taylee actually cleaned her dinner plate. Hooray!! She is quite the finicky eater, and I am constantly fighting with her. But, last night she had her plate full of meat, potatoes, green beans, and orange slices, and she ate every bit. I was so happy I almost jumped for joy. (Jake did bribe her with a milk shake, but whatever works, huh?)

Lego Towers and . . . . Salmonella, anyone?
What an exciting Super Bowl Sunday it has been for the Klein family!! No, not really. Rohne had a runny nose, so Jake stayed home from church with him, and they made a really high tower with the mega blocks. The funnest part was, of course, knocking it down, and the kids had to do it numerous times. We had lunch, and then, I was able to take a good 2-3 hour long nap, while Jake watched the kids (What a great Husband) Boy, was it awesome!! Taylee had on this cute little sweater dress, and women at church kept asking me if I knitted it for her. I should have taken the credit, but I had to tell them I got it at Old Navy for 75% off.

We went to Riverdance!
Yes, today we braved the big city lights of down town, and took a family outing to Riverdance. It all started with Jake's on call BOA, Jenny. She was just filling in until Jake hired his now permanent BOA, Urika. Jenny used to be a dancer in England, and absolutely adored Taylee, especially when she found out that Tay was a fellow ballerina. Jake went on to inform her that Riverdance started Taylee's love for dancing. We have the video, and Jake puts it on for the kids to watch. (He quite enjoys it also). They like to sing and dance along with the performers, and it holds their attention so we can get other things done. Anyways, when it was Jenny's time to move on, she gave our family a going away gift, which was 4 tickets to the Riverdance farewell tour. It was all well and great, until we realized we would have to take a 3 and 2 year old to a theater, at 2:oo in the afternoon. Needless to say, they relished in it until the Intermission. After that, they were toast, and we had to leave before the end, which is always the best part. It was amazing, though!! The music was beautiful, the dancing superb, and the atmosphere, fantastic. We did get our fair share of disgusted looks and comments when our kids would act up, but it was well worth it. Thanks Jenny, for a great gift. And, hey, the good part was that we were able to put the kids to bed at 7:00 tonight, because they were so tired. We had our evening together after all. They don't let you take pictures in the theater, so this is the best we got.
It gave me an excuse to dress Tay up in her Christmas dress again. She always gets so much attention in this dress, and she just loves it.
