Our own Pilates Class

So, I have officially jumped back on the work-out bandwagon. After a too long break, and some extra "poundage," I decided it was about time. Starting again has not been fun. I can't believe that I let myself get so out of shape. Needless to say, I went running this morning, and came back to do a Pilates DVD (BIG advocate, by the way). The kids thought it was a great family activity, and jumped right in, princess dress and all. It was hard for me to focus, but they were too cute.

Wow, Mom, who thought working out could be so much fun?

I guess they're still building those delicate stomach muscles.

They were done after about 3 minutes, and it made them so hungry! Cereal for Rohne, and crackers for Taylee. Carbs, Carbs, Carbs. Gotta gear up for the next one!

I thought it was so silly that Jake set the cereal bowl on Rohne's diaper. Who needs a kitchen table?

How fun! I tried to teach Greta how to do a sit up today. It didn't work. And then Andrea just laughed and laughed at me as I went up and down.

That is too cute! Jacey exercises every day. She changes her clothes and seriously exercises... jumping jacks, treadmill, lifts weights... it is really funny. I love that your kids had to have a food break in the middle. You look tiny by the way...extra poundage my eye!

Are you doing my pilates video? It is a really good one. You need to whip those kids into shape, they are having a hard time doing sit ups. I often exercise in my princess outfit too, it makes me feel prettier as I sweat and wheeze!

Pilates is hard work! Way to go!

I would probably be more motivated to exercise if I had a princess dress!

Your comment really made us laugh last night. (about my uterus).

I need to learn pilates. If Taylee can do, I should be able to also. My stomach muscles are now a little messed up so hopefully I will be able to do a sit up. Very cute kids.
