Cabin Fever, go away, don't come back another day!

I don't why, but I am so ready for this winter to be over, and want spring to spring! The kids and I have been a little grouchy and stir crazy, so I decided that I would try to do a fun outing at least every other, if not every day. Yesterday we went to the library, the day before we went to Factoria, and today we went to the Crossroads Mall. I called up my good friend, Lori, who brought along her lively little boy, McKay. This mall is great, because it's not very busy during the day, and it's small enough that the kids can just run, and you don't have to worry too much. There are lots of different places to eat, and they have 4 or 5 kid rides that only cost a quarter. Tay and Rohne had a blast, and it was a great way to break up the cabin fever.

We ate pizza, and as you can tell, the kids were quite hungry!

Rohne and McKay loved riding the car together, as long as they took turns driving.

They really liked this little train. The mall also has a 3 child carousel, and a racing horse I didn't get pictures of.

I plan on going again next week, so just let me know if you want to tag along!!

I'm glad you found something that you can do to get you out of the house. I wish that our mall had a non busy time to play in the the LITTLE play area, but it is always packed. Looks like fun!! (I would love to join you next week. Let me check my schedule!!)

Good work on the creative outings. My creativity stops at play-doh and PBS kids. Not too original.

I feel your pain with the picky eater. Lucy has about 10 things she'll eat and they rotate weekly. Very hard!

How fun! It definitely helps to get out of the house every once in a while. Sometimes for me though, it is so much of a pain getting three little ones out the door, that it is easier to just stay home. I'm definitely wanting spring to come too!
