Last Thursday, the kids and I (along with my parent's financial support) decided to take a whirlwind trip to Montana, and Idaho. My sister, Whitney, is living with us this summer, and needed someone to drive up here with her. Because plane tickets are so outrageous, we took the train. It was exciting for the kids at first. Then they realized they had to be on "Thomas" for 24 hours!! Yes, it was quite the ordeal, but we survived. The nighttime was harsh, and Rohne had a bad cough, but we were so glad when Grandma Honey and Grandpa Hamblin picked us up. I have missed my family so much, and this trip was some much needed therapy. Thanks again, Mom and Dad! I love you so much! We had the best time ever. Thank goodness for portable DVD players. Tay was quite happy with this, but Rohne doesn't watch movies as well. He got a little bored.
Us before leaving the depot. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into!

You were so brave! Shon said that the Hamblin girls can do anything that they put thier mind too. He's right. How proud we are of all of you.
Wow! When I heard you had left on a 24 hr. train ride, I was a little worried for you! I'm glad it went ok though. You're a trooper!
I'm glad that you all survived. I don't know if I would be happy with just a DVD player either. I might have been just as restless as Rohne.
