My First Blog!

Hey! This is actually quite exciting, but it is going to take me awhile to get the hang of it. I have been in "mommy mode for 3 years, and I don't use the computer much anymore.

To all non-family who don't know, Jake and I live in Renton, Washington where we have been for about 7 months. Jake is a Financial Advisor working for Edward Jones. (Anyone needing investment advice, please contact us). We have 2 crazy kids, Taylee and Rohne. Tay's turning 3 in a couple weeks, and Rohne will be 2 in November. Being just 14 months apart, they have really kept us on our toes. But, parenthood is the best, and they are wonderful blessings. I stay at home with my kids, and am very grateful to be able to do that. I would like to get certified to teach aerobics, and work part time when life slows down a little.

We moved to Renton to be near Jake's family, and also to be near a specialist and good hospital for Rohne. He was born with immunity problems, and has been in and out of the hospital his whole life. It was definitely an answer to our prayers to move here, because he is getting wonderful care, and his health is much more manageable now. We give him shots 2-3 times a week which boost his white blood cells. We are hoping he will grow out of it, but they aren't sure yet. He is a big, big boy with a lot of energy. You would never know that he has ever been sick. He will soon pass up his sister in height, and has outweighed her most of his life!

Taylee is our little princess. She loves all things girly, and wears a dress 95% of the time. My main complaint with her is that I never can get her to eat anything! So, she is skinny, but healthy.
