After years and years and years of begging, from both Jake and kids, I finally relented, and we got a pet. As of yesterday, we are officially a pet family. Growing up with animals of all kinds, I liked them, but, I knew how much work they were, and what a pain they could be. So, I never really wanted one for myself. We have been having a few difficulties with our little princess lately, and Jake and I thought that a new kitten might be a good distraction for her. We found her off of Craigslist. 6 weeks old, cute as a button, very tame, and loves people. The kids are constantly holding her, and following her around everywhere. Let's hope I don't regret this decision in a week!
She was a little scared the first day, and last night, but, today she has settled right in. Even went potty in the litterbox, and she is eating like a champ.

I love cats,and I love his name, my hubby hates them. we had some this winter and they were gradually eliminated by the dogs. We are now catless.
He is so cute! My kids would love an a dog or cat, but fortunately, I mean UNfortunately Dave and I are allergic! Poor kiddos... ;)
