So, I have survived 3 children for 18 months now. I know that's really not how you should look at it, but, this babeh has definitely given me a run for my money. For journaling purposes, I thought I would dedicate a post just to my 1 year and half old terror.
-He's still the happiest with only a diaper on. Even in the dead of winter.
-He doesn't talk nearly as much as my other kids did at his age. I've been a little worried about it, actually. But, I think he'll catch up one of these days. Some things he does say: Mama, Tay, No, Ball, Out, Car, ChooChoo, Shoe, Bath, Juice, Hi, Bye Bye, Night Night, Nose, Eyes, Thank You, Show, Two, Go.
-Still won't call Jake Dadda. He calls him Mama. And, when Jake says that he's not Mama, he's Dadda, Tristan just tells him "No, No, No." Poor Jake.
-Loves loves loves trains. But, he wants someone to play with him. He won't play by himself.
-Gets into absolutely everything. Climbs on the counter and throws the cups out, loves the silverware drawer, dumps out whole bins of toys just because, dumps any open (usually full of liquid) container out on the floor, etc. He accounts for nearly 90% of the messes in our house.
-He has figured out he can open the tallest drawers in the kitchen, and hang on them like a swing. Not so safe.
-He loves to be outside, but, thinks it's really funny to run right into the street. He likes to have me chase after him.
-Absolutely will NOT sit in the carts at the store. He wants to walk with his brother and sister. Which actually means, he just wants to run away, and knock all the stuff off the shelves. I try not to take him to the store, unless absolutely necessary.
-He will finally stay in the chapel, and sit with us in the pew, until after the Sacrament is passed. This is a huge leap. He does not like to be confined. Jake usually takes him out in the hall.
-He went to Nursery for the first time yesterday. Went right in, and didn't cry at all. I was shocked. While picking him up, Sister H. the nursery leader, told me he was very mature. I think she will take that statement back in a few weeks.
-He still gets up 1 or 2 times a night. And, he wants me to hold him, and rock him. I need to get tough.
-He likes music, dancing, and singing.
-He's a really really good hugger, and gives the best open-mouth kisses. I still love them, while they gross out my other kids.
-He rarely sits down in the bathtub, and never really has. I wash his hair, and whole body with him standing up. And, then, he gets out. He likes to bathe with his big brother the best.
-When he's not tearing apart the bathroom while I'm in the shower, he knocks on the shower door the entire time. Not so relaxing for me.
-He likes to go into rooms, and shut the door on himself. He'll stay in there, even if it's completely dark. If I can't find him, he's probably stuck in the laundry room, bathroom, pantry, or storage room.
-He screams whenever anyone leaves the house without him. Every time I take Taylee next door to go to school, when Jake leaves for work, when I go to work out, when Grandma leaves after a visit.
-Although he is a busy busy body, I am thankful for him every day. He lights up our house with his happy nature, and energy. What would we do without him?

He also only likes to read one book - Dan Zanes Jump Up. I have to read it a minimum 3 times back to back or else he screams like a banshee.
Makes me tired just reading it! What a little bundle of energy. So cute and congratulations surviving 18 months! Only 16 1/2 years to go:)
What a Boy! Wish I could see him.
Oh that Tristan. He is a character huh.
