So, I guess I've been a bit of a blog slacker lately. Here's a few things to update you all on our lives.
-Tristan is officially 9 months old! At his appointment, he was 21 pounds 5 oz., and he was 29 inches long. He is in the 50-75% in everything. His growth is slowing a little, since he is now so mobile. He loves to cruise around, and cause trouble. He caught a really bad cold last week, (along with all of us, including me) and has been really grouchy. It seems to be hanging on, and I just wish it would go away! He's sleeping a little better at night. In fact, one night last week, I was feeling very under the weather, so, Jake said he would take him all night. Well, I didn't hear him until quarter to 5 in the morning!! Jake totally lucked out. That's the first time he's done that EVER!!
-Taylee and Rohne are loving the warmer weather we have been having. They ask me all day long to go to the park, and ride their bikes. I think we're going to work on no training wheels pretty soon. . . Tay is loving Ballet, and enjoys showing me all of her great moves when she comes home on Saturdays. She can't wait until the Recital in June. I pulled her out of preschool for awhile, because of "issues," but, after a long discussion with her teacher, I decided to put her back in, and she is doing much better. She is so excited for Kindergarten, and is getting great at sounding out words, spelling, and doing simple math. Rohne also goes to preschool once a week, and absolutely loves it. He is our little social butterfly. He loves to make friends, and worships the older boys, who take time to play with him. He has so much energy, and every day is another challenge in finding ways for him to expend it.
-Jake started a new job about a month ago. It has been really scarey for me, but, not for him. He is always so positive, and is doing just great. It is so nice to have him be his own boss again, and not having anyone micro-managing him. He does so much better when he is in control. We're thinking this job could possibly be "IT." We had to get our own Health Insurance, and now we have to pay our own taxes, but, the payoff is so much better. A husband happy with his job, makes for a happier family! He has been up to his ears in Stake and Regional Basketball, and it is Softball season again too. He really loves softball, and although it takes him away from the home more than I would like, it is his release. I guess he deserves it. . . .
-Whitney is here again for the summer! She is frantically looking for a job. I hope something turns up soon. It will be nice to have her around for a few months.
-I am always feeling my age lately. I have been training for another Half Marathon in June. It feels like just when I start seeing results, something sets me back. I got a bad cold, and pulled a muscle, so, I didn't run for awhile. And, I feel like I'm starting all over! Ugh. I still have those pesky 12 pounds hanging on, and I'm getting really MAD at them. I just wanna be able to fit into my jeans again. I do NOT want to have to buy a size up. I also have no excuse now. My baby is 9 months. "It takes 9 months to put it on, and that long to take it off." Dangit.

I can't believe how big Tristan is. Sounds like life is going well. Good luck with the new job. That is scary but having a job that Jake loves is worth the trade off! Good luck with your 1/2 marathon!
Tristan seems so much older than Hunter again! That is crazy how he cruises all over. Hunter is finally learning to crawl, and we've realized that he just takes his sweet time with everything.
And you are amazing for training for a half marathon! Maybe I will THINK about it in a few months. :)
So cute blog you have...And your kids is adorable!
Hope you have a great day.

Tristan is almost 9 months?! Wow! Time flies! Hooray for the better weather. We just got a trampoline, so it's nice to shove the kids outside. And congratulate Jake on his new job - what is it exactly?
We are self-employed, I love having Kalon around when we need him and the kids really love it. I hate buying our own insurance, it stinks. We have to fork out so much for Medical. The tax break is nice though. Good luck with everything. YOur family is so darling. Your a doll!
p.s I hear ya on the set backs. If I take a week off I feel like I get that fast out of shape. I hate it. It stinks getting sick or feeling like crap, because you get in a mode of running or working out and then it sets you back, and feel like your starting all over. Good luck on your marathon. YOur amazing to get 11 miles on your Tread, I am bored out of mind staring at a wall for three miles. I thought once of flying up there to run it with you, but I may be going to a wedding. By the way you are skinny.
It's so nice to have an "update" I miss you and wish we could go running together! Have fun with your sister:)
Yes, blog slacker! Go ahead and post more stuff okay. I would really appreciate it. Plus, you have really cute kids and I wish it was warm enough in idaho to wear shorts.
