Whenever Taylee sees the sun shining, and it's summer, she wants to go swimming. She loves the water, and has always been our little mermaid. Lessons have really helped with both of the kids' confidence in the water. Rohne has gone under a couple of times, and because I am not stuffing this body into a swimming suit, and although I am not right there by him, he has recovered well, and dunks his whole head under now. Let's hope we can keep swimming when the baby gets here. It's a great way to cool down, and feels so good soaking my swollen feet.

We love to go to Beach Parks, and this one on Mercer Island is one of our favorites, because there's never very many people. You know me, I love a deserted park!! I've been getting so annoyed at all the crowds, especially with school being out. Older kids are mean!

This is a little kiddy pool that we go swimming at with the cousins now and then. They live right next door to it, and, let us take advantage of it sometimes too.

I thought the kids looked kind of tan in this picture. They are always slathered in sunscreen, but, I guess some sun always gets through. Tay already has the cutest tan line on her bum from her swimming suit.

It's good that they have each other to play with, because we don't hang out with many other peoople. They're too afraid that I'm big, pregnant, and grouchy. Which is VERY true!

They are too cute Emily. I need to get my kids in swim lessens, Jay hates his head under water. Your funny about the sage brush, I don't mind it if there was some trees. We have been blessed with a lot of rain this summer so its greener than normal. Have you guys been getting the rain. Hang in there, Heavenly Father is teaching us all patience. IT will be worth the wait, let me know as soon as he comes. Tak care.
you are amazing! i cannot believe that they are letting you go this long. you're such a trooper! so, i have been looking for some great beaches and pools. you NEED to tell me where the mercer island one is and the kiddie pool. talk to you soon!
Hang in there! I keep checking back to see if baby has arrived yet. Can't wait to see the little guy. Best of luck!
Every time I see you have a new post I get so excited. I'm glad you're still letting your kids have fun, even if you're not!! What a good mom.
I know exactly what you're talking about with older big mean kids! I hate parks in the summer for that exact same reason! That's so wonderful that T & R are so close to each other and enjoy one another's company!
Hang in there grouchy pregnant woman!!! :) At least it's cooled down today and for the next couple days too! I remember being preggo in the good 'ole summer time!
Your kids are so cute! How great that they love the water. Mine do to, but my oldest is reluctant to learn how to swim and prefers her water wings. And I totally agree about crowds!
