We haven't done much this week, because Rohne is still recovering from a bad cold he caught last weekend. He had a fever for a good 3 days, which is never fun, and I am surprised his lungs are still intact from all of his coughing. I caught the bug too, which caused me to completely lose my voice, so chasing around 2 crazy kids has kind of been a challenge. All in all, we have kind of laid low. I want the kids to be completely healthy when we leave them for 4 days with Grandma next week. We will be travelling to Oregon to spend some time at a resort for Jake's Annual Summer Regional. It is for families too, but the one year we took the kids with us, they got the sickest they have ever been, and Rohne got put in the hospital. So. . . . I don't think I will ever take them again. Plus, it is a good time for Jake and I to be together, and rejuvinate. It is never easy for me to relax without my children, but I'm really going to try. I know they are in good hands, but I get anxious away from them for even a couple hours. I'm also not in the tip top swimming suit shape I wanted to be, but, I'm just gonna have to grin and "bare" it. Speaking of swimming, we did have some sunshine Friday, which was a big boost from having rain and clouds FOREVER!!! I bought the kids this pool, and they spent hours in it. I couldn't find anything to blow it up until the afternoon, so it didn't really warm up, but it only bothered them when they had to sit down.

Poor boy, sick little ones make me so sad. I am glad he is feeling better though. It sounds like you and your husband have a fun little vacation ahead of you. I have been trying to get Malona and Bree to start blogs, but they won't and I don't know why. I will tell Malona that you need her to!
HOpe you are all feeling lots better. The pool looks so fun, I need to buy my kids one. I had one a couple years ago, but left it outside WAY too long and it got holes, and it just wouldn't stay inflated. Stupid me. And I am just like you about leaving my kids. I hate to leave them, but at the same time, like to be just with Ryan. I think about them and worry and just want ME to be with them. I'm sure they'll be fine. Have fun and can't wait to hear about your trip!
I am glad to hear you are all feeling better. The sunshine is definitely a natural remedy for so many things. Especially a spirit that feels a little low! I get so excited to see you post new things, I can't wait for the next one!
Your little pool is really cute. It's so good that you guys are getting some warmer weather. I know that is brightens my days, ha ha. It looks like your kids love it.
Have a fun trip with Jake! I know what you mean about leaving your kids, I leave for an hour by myself and about have an anxiety attack worrying about them while I am gone! I hope there are many more sunny days heading your way!
Thanks for the pictures. I don't think you need to worry about how your swimsuit figure is, for I'm sure that it is pretty good. Why do we girls worry so much about that? Maybe I was a bad mother in that area, for I let "appearance" occupy too much of my time. I'm sorry.
Your kids are so cute. I love to look at these pictures a few times a day. I really miss you guys!
Hello, the Klein Fam, your kids are growing up. They are so cute. I feel like we have been living in the North West. It just barely warmed up here in the Burg. I guess you take what you get. I love the sun and I am glad that you have seen it this summer. Have a great rest of the week.
It will be nice to have some adult time this weekend. Enjoy it! I hope you have a great time.
